Uncovering Your Unique Worth & Wealth Connection

If you're a midlife coach or healer, you probably didn't start your business to spend endless hours choosing fonts & colours, rewriting your niche, tweaking your message & your offers, & lets not forget, getting to grips with all the tech. You started because you wanted freedom, clients, income & to do the work that lights you up.

Yet here you are, busy all the time, but not anywhere near where you want to be.

Every time you start to see a glimmer of progress (because some days you're on fire), something comes along to set you back.

This is the stop start cycle of functional freeze.

The biggest issue with functional freeze is that it doesn't even look like freeze from the outside, so it makes it super tricky to spot under all that busyness. But that busyness are the masks freeze wears. The perfectionist, the heroine, the good girl, the wallflower, the chameleon. Designed to keep you looking like you're doing all the things, while really you're ghosting your own goals again.

The most common emotion associated with freeze according to Bessel Van Der Kolk in his book 'The body keeps the score', is shame. The shame that whispers "you're not enough, not ready, not as good as 'they' are". It's the shame that convinces you to reinvent, hide & over give, instead of simply following your plan to just show up.

This is why worth & wealth are so deeply connected. If you don't feel safe in your own worth, consistency feels impossible, & so does receiving the clients & the income you desire.

My own personal take on the worth-wealth connection

I believed that if I wasn't helping others, then I wasn't doing enough. Beneath that the beliefs that I wasn't clever enough or focused enough to have what I wanted. Threaded through that, was the belief that I didn't deserve support, & right at the very core, the belief that I just didn't matter.

It was easy to see how this one core belief had spread its branches into every single area of my life. Holding me back from opportunities. Keeping me quiet when I wanted to speak. Burying myself in busy work that looked productive, but never actually moved the needle.

That was my freeze in disguise. The shame kept me hidden while the patterns kept me busy.

What changed for me was realising that my true worth isn't tied to what I do, or how perfect I do it.

Once I stopped hiding behind the patterns & started honouring my unique gifts, I noticed a powerful shift. I didn't have to 'earn' anyone's approval by over working, or having everything perfect, or saying yes to the things that I didn't want to do. I allowed myself to feel worthy just as I am. I started speaking up. I reached out for support. I started following a strategy consistently & I naturally began to attract more clients, more opportunities & of course, more income.

Why this matters for you

All the time you sit under valuing yourself, is time you'll stay stuck in this stop-start cycle.

  • You'll keep pouring your energy into the wrong things.

  • You'll hold back from visibility because the shame will tell you it's not safe.

  • You'll continue to feel inconsistent, frustrated & bloody exhausted with the lack of results.

Worth is the foundation of wealth.

Its the foundation of your business.

Without it, your strategy won't stick, your confidence will waver, & the clients won't come.

But with it, consistency will feel natural, because you're no longer fighting the freeze.

Moving forward

This week is about uncovering your unique worth, & noticing how it's tangled up in shame & freeze.

When you can see how your worth & wealth are connected, you can start disrupting the survival patterns that keep you busy, but not moving, then you finally get to show up for the work you came here to do.

Your worth is already there. Once you honour it, wealth will have space to flow.

Journal prompts

Take some time to reflect on these prompts. They'll help you spot where worth, freeze & shame are colliding in your business.

  • Where am I ghosting my goals under the disguise of 'being busy'?

  • Which is the pattern that comes up the most when shame takes the drivers seat?

  • What does my freeze tell me about my worth when I think about being visible?

  • If I felt safe & worthy, what's one step forward I would take in my business this week?

Discovering your unique worth

Every one of us carries a set of talents, experiences, and passions that are entirely our own. After you've worked through the prompts above, I invite you to take a moment to uncover your true uniqueness

Ask yourself:

What are the qualities that make me uniquely me?

Which strengths have carried me through past challenges?

How do these attributes contribute to my personal and professional success?

Remember, uncovering your worth isn’t about comparison. It’s about celebrating the distinct path that you walk. Your personal narrative is a treasure trove of insights that can guide your decisions and set the stage for future abundance.

I'd love for you to share your thoughts or breakthroughs in the comments.

Let's celebrate each step of this crazy journey together!

You're not on your own.

Love,

Hayley x
